Compassionate Conservatives

Conservative reaction to the killing of at least 14 civilians in Pakistan including women and children range from "too bad" to "its a good thing."

"Now, it's a regrettable situation, but what else are we supposed to do?" Sen. Evan Bayh

um, get your intelligence right before blowing up 3 different houses, maybe use ground forces? If you can't do that maybe pretend like you care a little bit.

Segregationist Trent Lott added:
"I would have a problem if we didn't do it."

John McCain:

"We apologize, but I can't tell you that we wouldn't do the same thing again."

Now if we thought terrorists were hiding out in a London suburb or even in a Riyadh palace, would we be indiscriminately firing missiles into civilian areas? Fuck no. Being poor in Pakistan doesn't get you any more decency from these people than being poor in New Orleans. If you're a shade darker than mauve and don't have a gold plated toilet you're not just expendable, you're worth killing to make a point.

psst, if you want to find Osama, check the basement of the White House.
